Kennon Observatory
We are offering a public viewing of the sky in Kennon Observatory at the University of Mississippi this Friday (Dec. 2), 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
We will be observing the Moon, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, as well as star clusters (including the Pleiades), nebulae (including the Orion Nebula), galaxies (including the Andromeda Galaxy) and colorful double stars.
Observations are possible only if the weather cooperates. In case the weather is cloudy, we will have to cancel this event.
Families and children are welcome, the event is free!
